Potential By The Bushel
Not all SDHI fungicides are equal. Unlike ordinary fungicides, the Cleaner & Greener fungicide portfolio contains exclusive ADEPIDYN® or SOLATENOL® technology. That means unrivaled dual-yield protection from disease and stress, like drought, to help ensure max yield preservation and return.
Disease steals upwards of 1.3 billion bushels per year1.
Growing disease pressure demands more disease-fighting power found in Adepidyn and Solatenol technologies. More powerful, persistent chemistry gives a broader spectrum of disease protection for cleaner, disease-free fields.
Crop stress can steal up to 50% of potential yield2.
With Cleaner & Greener fungicides you also see greener corn, soybean and wheat fields with unrivaled plant-health benefits that provide unexpected savings.
How does it work?
Greener leaves =
Cleaner & Greener fungicides distinctly enhance plants’ natural capacity for light energy absorption and conversion. In dry and drought conditions, this effect preserves yield even without visible disease.

More water =
Plants fighting to save water have less energy to put toward grain fill and potential yield. Cleaner & Greener fungicides offer a distinct advatage to help plants reduce their transpiration rate and conserve more water and nutrients even in drought.
In greenhouse studies measuring water loss via transpiration rate, or water loss through the leaves, plants treated with a Cleaner & Greener fungicide showed more than 10 grams of water saved per plant over 14 days over untreated.3

Higher quality crops + less lodging
Cleaner & Greener-treated crops are stronger with increased ear and grain fill, reduced lodging and pod shattering, and improved crop and straw quality than those treated with ordinary fungicides. The extra payout vs. untreated acres – faster harvest saves time and fuel.5

Ready for max yield preservation?
In heavy or low disease pressure, Cleaner & Greener fungicides are the best yield preservation investment available. Data across six years and over 700 strip trials show that Cleaner & Greener fungicides were profitable ~80% of the time. PLUS, in 30% of those winning scenarios, yield results saw 20 bu/A or more over the untreated check.
Based on application + product cost and corn price $6.00/bu. Data from 709 on-farm grower/strip trials from 2016-2022; AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, NE, NY, OH, SD, WI. Trivapro and Miravis Neo at 13.7 oz/A applied at VT-R1 corn.
4Numbers based on average corn population per acre and transpiration rates observed in a controlled greenhouse environment. Transpiration rates and corn population vary field by field and results will vary by geography and field conditions.
5Trial information: By factoring in the hourly cost of a combine, we can clearly see an increase of approximately $23/Acre in harvest costs for the untreated acre. This represents $2,251 more cost to harvest 100 acres if your harvest speed drops from 4.5 to 2.8 MPH. The $322 average cost per hour to operate an 8-row combine with corn chopping head is from the 2021 University of Minnesota Machinery Cost Estimates (https://wlazarus.cfans.umn.edu/william-f-lazarus-farm-machinery-management). (Total Machine Cost / Ac * the machine’s Acres/Hr rate = $47.35 * 6.79 = $321.51/hour)
If we drop combine speed from 4.5 MPH to 2.8 MPH we lose ~38% efficiency (38% more time to harvest the same area). 4.5 MPH x 5280 = 23760 x 20 ft. width (8 row head) = 475200 ft. / 43560 = 10.9 A/hour x .80 (efficiency – end rows etc.) = 8.72 acres per hour 2.8 MPH x 5280 = 14784 x 20 ft. width (8 row head) = 295680 ft./4350 = 6.78 A/hour x .80 (efficiency – end rows etc.) = 5.42 acres per hour
Conclusion: For 100 acres, harvest cost at 4.5 MPH is (100/8.72 = 11.46 hours x $322/hour cost = $3,690) and 2.8 MPH is (100/5.42 = 18.45 hours x $322/hour cost = $5,941)
