Tan spot

  • Cause: Pyrenophora tritici-repentis
  • Environment: Favors wet weather with temperatures ranging from 60-82°F
  • Timing: Frequent rains in May and June promote disease development
  • Appearance: Scout for tan to brown lesions on the leaves varying in size. Symptoms are usually more severe on lower leaves and then progresses upward.
